Last night it was announced that current Male Artist Of the Year & CMC Oz Artist Of The Year Adam Brand will be appearing on Channel 7’s series 9 of Dancing With The Stars which commences on Sunday July 5.

Adam is joined by champion surfer Layne Beachley, swimsuit model Emily Scott, Television presenters Kylie Gillies and Matt White, footy legend Peter 'Spida' Everitt, Packed To The Rafters actress Jess McNamee, blind Paralympian Gerard Gosens along with Home and Away star Lincoln Lewis and singer Rob Mills.

‘Comin From/Khe Sanh’ from Adam’s 2008 album ‘Blame It On Eve’ was nominated in the category of ‘Country Work of the Year’ at the APRA Music Awards nominations announcement in Sydney yesterday.

‘I’m thrilled to be nominated for an APRA award and to be included in such a stella field’… said Adam who is touring in WA at present.

Other nominees in the category are Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicolson’s with “Rattlin’ Bones”, Adam Harvey with “I’m Doin’ Alright”, Amber Lawrence with ‘Good Girls“ and Sara Storer “Long Live The Girls”.
