Congratulations to Chelsea Basham for winning the Best New Talent Golden Guitar at the 2013 Country Music Awards of Australia.

Chelsea credits her parents for the encouragement and support she needs to live the life of a singer and songwriter.

So winning the Golden Guitar for Best New Talent of the Year at the Country Music Awards of Australia in Tamworth on Saturday night was the best possible 60th birthday present possible for Chelsea’s father, Doug.

Congratulations to the delightful, talented and hard working Chelsea Basham for her nomination in the Best New Talent category in the 2013 CMAA Country Music Awards.

The winners will be announced at the awards show on January 26th at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment & Convention Centre.

Rising Australian country music artist Chelsea Basham joined CanTeen Members on centre stage in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall on Friday October 26th to raise awareness about the needs of young people living with cancer and the services provided by CanTeen. Chelsea, who’s latest single “Laugh It Off’ has hit the #1 spot on the CMC Top 30 Countdown and various radio charts, sang several sets throughout the day.
